The average Days on Market for properties sold in February was 103, the same as for the month of January, and the same average seen in February 2011. Only two months in the last 12 months saw a Days on Market average below 90: July and September both reported 88. Days on Market is the number of days between first being listed in an MLS and when a sales contract is signed.

Bothell has lowest tax rates in Washington

According to John Koster, Snohomish County Council Member" Bothell has one of the lowest property tax rates in Washington. Among 281 cities, more than 230 have higher tax rates than Bothell. The Housing Market May Have Reached The Bottom

Members of Northwest Multiple Listing Service are reporting positive gains in activity. Pending sales for                                      February increased more than 27 percent from a year ago, more sellers are listing their homes, and brokers are reporting an uptick in multiple offers.
